The human side of tennis

Sound familiar?

You thought you were just picking up a sport. 😂

01

Your partner coaches you.

After every. single. point. You say “thanks.” Inside, you are one tip away from losing it.

02

“Are you sure?”

You clearly saw it out. Now you're second-guessing yourself AND her.

03

Your partner sighs.

Then goes quiet. And suddenly you're playing two matches at once. 😬

04

She gets under your skin.

By the second set, she could open a banana and you'd be annoyed by HOW she opened it. 🍌

05

You say nothing. Then you stew.

And by the fifth time, it comes out a lot louder than you meant it to.

06

You replay it on the drive home.

And at 3am. Over a recreational tennis match. Ask me how I know?! 🙋‍♀️

If even one of these made you go 😬, this one's for you.

hi, I'm Shaheen 🎾

Why I made this

“It would honestly crush me if you stopped playing tennis because of the drama and the politics.”

Tennis brings out the best in us. And sometimes, parts of ourselves we thought we'd outgrown. 😂

Drama on Court is how you handle the human side of tennis: the partner, the opponent, the call, the comment. Know what to say, when to stand your ground, and when to let it go, without losing your confidence, your composure, or your love of the game.

In their own words

From the women I work with

Over 1,000 women already use my Calm on Court tools. Here's what women say about working with me.

Shaheen understands the pressure that comes with recreational tennis. Partners, lineups, ratings, personalities, and all the expectations we put on ourselves. I finally feel understood 💖

Partners, lineups, personalities

In my first match applying Calm on Court techniques, I played THE BEST TENNIS OF MY LIFE AND I HAD FUN!!!

Her first match using it

The difficult part is when so many people do not work on themselves, and instead reflect their own struggles onto others. Your course is such a powerful reminder to stay grounded, self-aware, and intentional despite that.

Staying grounded

calm on the court has changed my game completely...I kept it under control from the first set. Losing wasn’t an option for me and neither was being my own worst critic!

A playoff win at D1

I basically quit tennis because of my head and what I put myself thru to the point of hating it. Your stuff has helped so much and listening to it just calms me all Over !!

Back on a team after two years

I love it and have never played better. Telling all my team gals about it!
